The Dallas Coin Club was organized in 1928 by William A.
Philpott, Jr. and C.A. McGlamery. The first meeting was held on

The Dallas Coin Club meets on the third Thursday of the month at 7:00 PM at La Calle Doce (a Mexican restaurant located at 1925 Skillman, in the Lakewood area of Dallas). Members and guests often arrive as early as 6:00 PM in order to eat dinner and socialize at the restaurant prior to the start of the meeting. Meetings generally consist of club business, "show and tell", an educational program, door price, and raffle prize followed by a free auction (please print out copies of this form if you bring items to sell). A holiday party takes place at the December meeting, and roughly twice a year, the club holds a joint meeting with the Collin County Coin Club.
